Volkswagen AG has officially closed its USD2.6 Million investment deal in Argo AI, the Pittsburgh-based self-driving start-up. Ford Motor also acquired a majority stake of the start-up in 2017.
China’s ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing (DiDi) has closed a fundraising round of over $500 million for its autonomous driving subsidiary. The round was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
