ALLIANCE AND PARTNERSHIP
Ford Motor Company and Volkswagen AG signed an agreement to collaborate on numerous projects, including development of electric cars, self-driving technology, and new commercial vehicles.
Autonomous vehicle, robotics, and AI specialist DGWorld will deliver and integrate their autonomous technology at the existing ITV fleet in multiple phases, with the goal to further increase the overall efficiency of the terminal and reduce the overall size of the currently used fleet, at the same time.

PILOTS & TRIALS
The EU FABULOS project, autonomous public transit service has started its testing and will complete tests in real conditions in five European countries, between April and October 2020. The autonomous vehicles will be tested in real-life traffic conditions with all the shuttle bus solutions.

Companies working on self-driving vehicles have criticized an insurance industry study suggesting that only a third of all U.S. road crashes could be prevented by driverless cars, arguing that the study has underestimated the technology’s capabilities.
