The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Reckitt Benckiser’s two products that can kill the novel coronavirus on surfaces – Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist and Lysol Disinfectant Spray. The results are based on the laboratory tests conducted by EPA found that the two Lysol products can kill the virus within two minutes of use.The EPA approval authorizes the parent company Reckitt Benckiser to make claims that the product can kill the COVID-19 virus.
For safe and effective use, EPA suggests that the EPA-registered disinfectant should be used as per the instructions guidelines mentioned on the label. The disinfectants are not for use on humans.
