X Energy raises $700 million in a Series C round

X Energy, a company specializing in advanced nuclear energy solutions, has raised $700 million in a Series C funding round. This investment will enable the company to advance the development and commercialization of its next-generation small modular reactors (SMRs). These are designed to provide clean, safe, and efficient nuclear power. Segra Capital Management, Jane Street, Ares Management, and others led the funding.

Saronic, a defense startup focused on autonomous vessels, secured $600M for expansion.

Saronic, a defense technology startup specializing in autonomous naval vessels, has secured $600 million in its Series C funding round. The fresh funding will support the company’s efforts to scale production, expand R&D, and accelerate deployments for military and maritime security applications. Saronic is a key player in the next-gen defense tech ecosystem with Governments and defense agencies investing heavily in AI-powered naval capabilities.

Capital on Tap received £550M in funding to enhance its SME credit solutions.

Capital on Tap, a fintech company specializing in credit solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has secured £550 million in new funding. The investment will fuel expansion efforts, allowing the company to offer more flexible credit lines, improve risk assessment technologies, and scale its financial services globally.

NinjaOne raised $500M to expand its IT management automation platform.

NinjaOne, the automated endpoint management platform, secured $500 million in Series C extensions at a $5 billion valuation. The funding was led by ICONIQ Growth and CapitalG, Alphabet’s independent investment fund, with participation from other prominent private investors. The funding will drive research and development focused on autonomous endpoint management, autonomous patching and vulnerability remediation, and expanded IT use cases that improve employee experiences with devices.

AI infrastructure startup Lambda closes $480M investment.

Funding Round: Series D Industry: Technology

Lambda Labs, an AI infrastructure startup, has raised $480 million in a Series D funding round valuing the company at $2.5 billion. The startup specializes in high-performance computing (HPC) solutions optimized for machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. The funding will help Lambda scale its cloud GPU services, build new AI supercomputing clusters, and expand data center capacity to meet the surging demand for AI computing power.

Eikon raises almost $351m to advance cancer candidates through the clinic.

Eikon Therapeutics, a biotech company specializing in cancer drug discovery and development, has secured $351 million in a Series D funding round. The funding will support Eikon’s clinical trials and regulatory approvals and help expand its R&D capabilities using live-cell imaging and AI-powered drug discovery.

Apptronik, which makes humanoid robots, raises $350M as category heats up.

Apptronik, the AI-powered humanoid robotics company, announced the successful closing of a $350 million Series A funding round co-led by B Capital and Capital Factory, with participation from Google.

Lion Storage secures €350M ($380M) financing for its largest battery storage projects.

Lion Storage, a Dutch energy storage developer, has closed €350M ($380M) funding for its Mufasa project, which is set to become one of Europe’s largest battery energy storage systems (BESS). “Project Mufasa is a game-changer for battery storage in the Netherlands. As the first to secure full project financing, it proves that energy storage is not just viable—it’s investable,” says Lion Storage co-founder Arno Hendriks.

Together AI raises $305M for its AI-optimized public cloud

Together AI has raised $305 million in a Series B funding round, led by General Catalyst and co-led by Prosperity7. This investment will accelerate the company’s leadership as the preferred AI Cloud for building modern AI applications with open source models and training custom models with our upcoming large-scale deployment of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs.

Archer Aviation raises $300M from Blackrock to expand defense sector focus

Archer Aviation has raised $301.75M, further strengthening its strong financial position and strategically positioning it to accelerate the development of its hybrid aircraft platform for the defense market and beyond. Leading institutional investors, including funds and accounts managed by BlackRock, participated in this financing, bringing Archer’s total liquidity to $1B.
