This Privacy Policy also does not apply to information that we receive or handle on behalf of our subscribers in our role as a service provider, such as information that we receive through Intellizence’s services (collectively, the “Subscription Services”). Such information is governed by the terms of the applicable subscription services agreement and data processing addendum, rather than this Privacy Policy. Who We Are?

Intellizence, Inc. is a company incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America and whose principal office is located at 8501 Bayview Avenue, Suite 1207, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 3J7 . We own and operate a proprietary AI-powered business signal intelligence platform for enterprises to discover and deliver insights from external unstructured data sources .  (“Services”).

What Information do We Collect?

We only collect information from you that is necessary for us to provide the relevant product or service, business communication consistent with the nature of such product, service, business relationship and/or communication. The personal information we may collect about you broadly falls into the following categories:

Information that you provide voluntarily: 

We collect some information directly from you (for example, via forms you submit or Services you access, download, or otherwise obtain, register for an event, or request for a demo or any online materials). The personal information is generally limited to:

  • Name, email address, phone number,  job title, contact preference, and company or organization
  • Your communications with Intellizence personnel
  • Content or comments you post on our social media sites
  • Use of the Services or from your organization on your behalf (for example, from observing your actions on the Website or to provision you with account access) 
  • Information you provide on the Website, such as online questionnaires, or feedback forms

Information we automatically collect:

When using our Websites or interacting with our online advertisements or marketing emails (collectively with our Websites, the “Online Properties”), we automatically collect certain information from your device. In some countries, including countries in the European Economic Area, this information may be considered personal information under applicable data protection laws. Some of this information may be collected using cookies and similar tracking technology, as explained further under the heading “Cookies and similar tracking technology”. The information we collect automatically may include:

  • Information you provide when you subscribe to email newsletters

Such Personal Data collected via these sources is typically limited to business contact information, such as names, contact information, job titles, IP addresses, and LinkedIn and other social media profiles.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

  • To reply to your requests or send important account, subscription, and Services information requested by you

  • To communicate with you about updates to the Services and Solutions

To better understand the individuals who use and interact with our Online Properties, where they come from, and what content on our Online Properties is of interest to them. Who do we share your personal information with?

How do we Keep Your Personal Information Secure?

Your information is important to us. We ensure appropriate safeguards (administrative, organizational, technical and physical) to protect your personal information that we have. We ensure that your data is safe, secure, and only available to you and to those you provided authorized access. To this end, we use encryption technologies and storage on physically and electronically secured servers. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology is 100% secure. To that end, you should take care as to what information you would like to provide us.

Marketing Communication Preferences

Based on the information gathered from your use of our products, and services, we can use it for marketing purposes. You have the right to stop us from using your personal data for such marketing purposes based on a legitimate interest as legal basis.

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

Based on the applicable law, you have certain data protection rights with respect to your Personal Data, to include: 

Right to access, delete, restrict and/or rectify inaccuracies – You can at any time access, correct, update, oppose, delete, block, limit or object, to the use of your personal data. The foregoing rights will be provided to you free of charge. Please note that we may charge an administrative fee or refuse to meet your request if your requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, which will be communicated to you.  

Right to remove your information – To remove your personal information from a Website testimonial or request removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, contact us at privacy@intellizence.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why. 

Right to withdraw consent 
The processing of your personal data is based on your consent, and you have the right withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of any processing we conducted
prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Right to portability – In case you want, you have the right to get your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format and transfer it to another regulator. You can only do this if your personal data is processed by automated means.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – You have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal information. For requests subject to the European General Data

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights, you need to verify your identity (e.g., your name, address, email address, or other information required). If you are a California resident, please refer to California Act below for more detailed information on your rights under California law.

We use all efforts to respond to any legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month, considering the complexity and number of requests we receive. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be collected, transferred to, and processed in, countries are other than the country in which you are resident, including the United States and other countries. These countries may have their own data protection laws that are different and may not provide for the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction.

Purposes – The CA Personal Information that we collect, and share is purely for the business and commercial purposes as described in the “How We Use Your Information” section.
