Atoms, the robotics company led by Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick, raised $1.7 billion in a round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Bain Capital, Fifth Wall, Uber and other investors also participated. As part of the deal, Andreessen Horowitz co-founder Ben Horowitz will join the company’s board.
Atoms is focused on using AI and specialised robotics in industries such as mining, transportation and food production. The company has not disclosed its valuation or given the financing a specific round name.
Meshy raises nearly $400 million at a $1.5 billion valuation

Meshy raised nearly $400 million in Series B funding, bringing its valuation to $1.5 billion. The company builds AI models that help people create production-ready 3D assets from text, images and sketches. Meshy says its technology can dramatically reduce the time and expertise normally needed to produce 3D content.
The company did not name the individual investors in the round but said both new global investors and all its existing investors participated.
Meshy plans to use the funding to invest in research and development and expand into more international markets.
Etched Lands $300 Million at a $10.3 Billion Valuation

AI chip startup Etched raised $300 million in Series C funding at a $10.3 billion valuation. The round was led by Sequoia Capital, with Andreessen Horowitz, Jane Street, Argo and SK Hynix also participating.
Etched is developing specialised chips for AI inference—the process of running trained AI models. The company aims to compete with general-purpose AI chips by building hardware designed specifically for demanding AI workloads.
Sila Raises $300 Million to Scale Battery Production

Battery technology company Sila secured $300 million through a private equity round. The company did not disclose a valuation.
Atreides Management and Sutter Hill Ventures led the financing. Other participating investors included 8VC, Bessemer Venture Partners, Matrix Partners and funds and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates.
Sila plans to use the capital to accelerate US production of its silicon-carbon anode technology and support the next phase of expansion at its manufacturing facility in Moses Lake, Washington. Augustus Reaches Unicorn Status with a $180 Million Series B

Augustus raised $180 million in Series B funding at a $1 billion valuation, officially making it a unicorn. Tiger Global led the round. Hummingbird, QED Investors and founders from companies including Nubank, Ramp, Circle and Deel also participated.
Augustus is building what it calls the “Global Dollar Bank.” Its platform is designed to help international banks and fintech companies access US-dollar accounts, payments and clearing systems more directly.
