Anduril raises $2.5B at $30.5B valuation

Anduril continues to dominate defense tech, securing one of the largest private rounds this year. The funding boosts its AI-powered defense systems and autonomous military platforms. Anduril has now doubled its valuation to $30.5 billion with this Series G funding. The company has also secured a contract with the U.S. Army for developing new AR/VR headsets for soldiers. The contract was initially awarded to Microsoft with a total budget of $22 billion, but was reassigned to Anduril in February.

Mira Murati’s AI startup, Thinking Machines Lab, emerges from stealth

Thinking Machines Lab, founded by Mira Murati, the former CTO of OpenAI, has raised $2 billion for her new AI venture, just six months after launching it. One of the largest seed rounds in Silicon Valley history, this stealth AI lab has turned heads with a sky-high valuation in its seed round, signaling strong investor confidence in AI research. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Sarah Guo’s Conviction Partners.

Elon Musk’s Neuralink raises $650 million in fresh capital

Brain-computer interface company Neuralink raised $600 million in a funding round, valuing the company at $9 billion. Elon Musk’s brain-tech venture raised fresh capital to accelerate human trials and expand its neural interface tech. The funding will support the advancement of its brain implant technology, which has shown promising results in enabling individuals with paralysis to interact with digital devices using their thoughts..

TerraPower announces $650 million fundraise

Terrapower, a leading nuclear innovation company, is reinventing nuclear energy for a cleaner future. Bill Gates is continuing to support next-generation reactors in addressing global energy challenges. The round was led by Prima Materia, alongside existing investors Lightspeed Ventures, Accel, Plural, General Catalyst, and SAAB, as well as new investors BDT & MSD Partners.

Applied Intuition closes Series F at $15 billion valuation

AI-native security leader Cyera reaching $6 billion valuation

Cyera, a leading AI-powered cyber security company, has doubled its customer base in the past six months. This rapid growth has propelled the company’s valuation to $6 billion, highlighting surging enterprise demand for next-gen data security solutions. The fastest growing data security company in history, today announced a $540 million Series E funding round, bringing its total funding to over $1.3 billion.

Impulse Space raises $300M in Series C funding

Impulse Space, the in-space mobility leader, has raised $300 million in a Series C funding round—one of the largest venture rounds in the history of the space industry. The round, led by Linse Capital, brings Impulse’s total capital raised to $525 million.

It includes Sequoia, GV, DST Global, Conviction, Elad Gil, Open AI Startup Fund, Elemental, SV Angel, Kris Fredrickson, and REV (the venture capital arm of RELX Group, which owns LexisNexis).
